Destined to be a classic and already starting to show up in hemmings as a collectible. Ford manufactured the harley davidson edition of the f150 for more than a decade. This model is no longer made. 2000 was the introductory year and is a one-year model. There is plenty of information available online for this. The truck was introduced in 1999 for the sturgis bike run. The 2000 is an extended-cab model, not seen as often as the the subsequent full 4-door version, and the bed is a step-side. Those two factors, along with custom factory wheels and a lowered chassisgives this model its unusual stance and unique look. This is a staff-owned vehicle and is very reliable for an un-restored survivor. There were but a few options for this truck in 2000, and this one has most of them, including themulti cd changer. Several new items and upgrades to include new battery, cold air intake, goodyear eagle tiresand new exhaust and aftermarket tail lights, rear wing and added chrome accents. This truck makes weekly trips from the hudson area to the auto auction in connecticut. Just over 8,000 were made, and many, unfortunately, became work vehicles andnot utilized as a special-interest ride. Owner is negotiable and would consider a partial trade for an older american-made work truck, 2-wheel drive, short-bed, floor shift manual preferred.
